Successful integration of the theatrical systems required coordination of building infrastructure with the latest technology. Apeiro Design (formerly Auerbach Pollock Friedlander) developed criteria for the theatrical systems infrastructure and coordinated design within the building to achieve independent and reliable operation. The flytower was rigged with manual and counterweight assist linesets and the areas over the stage and audience were equipped to support motorized spot winches. Mechanized elements are controlled by a sophisticated automation system. Sound, video and production communication systems were designed in close cooperation with CDS’s production sound designer and staff.

Apeiro Design (formerly Auerbach Glasow) designed the architectural lighting for the public spaces supporting the dramatic approach of the show’s theme. The lighting aids in generating audience excitement from the moment the guests step through the lobby doors by using color, accent and texture.
