Since 1978 PDF has been entertaining audiences with breathtaking pageantry, they took all of that knowledge and infused it into a single show called SAGA City of Light. An immersive walk-through experience which takes you on a journey through 1930s Shanghai.

Working closely with the PDF creators, the subject matter experts at Apeiro Design seamlessly incorporated the sophisticated supporting structures, necessary electrical infrastructure, stage machinery and network show controls into the 50 different scenes. Every “modern element”, for example the 300 specialized speakers from France, is integrated into the scenery to be nearly imperceptible – the imperative was to maintain the authenticity of the individual scenes.

Apeiro Design takes great pride in the “backstage” role we played at SAGA City of Light, because even though the audience cannot see the equipment rooms, motor control cabinets or data distribution within the immersive environment, we know that without the 2024 technology the magic of the 1930’s environment would not be possible.
