Apeiro Design collaborated with Marymount and the design team to plan an intimate proscenium theatre where no seat is more than 44 feet from the stage. With orchestra, parterre and wrap-around balcony seating, the venue blends contemporary architecture elements with performance functionality.

Designed to support the school’s renowned arts programming, the theatre features all new state-of-the-art theatrical technical systems, theatrical lighting and AV systems, dual projection setups and intuitive touchscreen controls. There are separate projection systems for scenic and presentation uses, operated from a simple touchscreen at a lectern or integrated with production controls. An automated rigging system allows for safe, efficient adjustments to stage battens. The design includes variable acoustic drapes to tailor the room for each performance and acoustic surround and risers to support Marymount’s bands, orchestras and choral ensembles.
