Apeiro Design designed the lighting for the site and the interior office spaces occupied by the University, as well as conceptualized the lighting controls systems. During the construction administration phase, the firm was engaged by the design-build contractor to assist with lighting control system commissioning and fine-tuning for the classrooms, conference rooms and the multi-level atrium spaces.

The majority of the office space has an open and lively feel, while selected areas are designed to create a private and cozy atmosphere complete with comfy furniture. Dimming capability and lighting scene programming was crucial in establishing the feel of the different spaces: energetic versus calm, bright versus dim. In the classrooms, conference rooms and atrium spaces, the light composition has been carefully crafted for time of day and/or activities by balancing layers of light.

By closely working with the University and the project team through the end of the construction phase, exceptional design was achieved using cost-effective equipment.
