Following two-years of work, the renovated venue offers theatre-goers remodeled lobbies, expanded restrooms and vibrant interior design choices along with new lighting, renovated historic light fixtures and refurbished art and murals by Arthur Frank Matthews. The proscenium itself features intricate wood carving which has been cleaned and brought back to life.

One of the major features of the architectural lighting is the grand chandelier in the audience chamber which was refurbished, rewired and re-lamped. The original wall sconces were also restored. Apeiro Design (formerly Auerbach Glasow) worked with historic lighting refurbishment manufacturer Phoenix Day on the historic elements.

The Curran Theater now offers modern conveniences that audiences desire without sacrificing the original character and features of the 1922-era theatre.
