The mainstage theatre, as well as the two drama classrooms, scenery and costume shops, and ancillary spaces create a modern performing arts training facility for the students. With training of the students being the utmost importance, the complex required a high level of sophistication for the rigging, lighting and audio-visual systems. This forward thinking approach has made this theatre the template for all new San Diego Unified School District performance venues.
