The 800-seat Bella Concert Hall, ensemble studios and practice rooms are all associated with outreach programming, serving over 30,000 students ranging from toddlers enrolled in “Music with Your Baby” and Suzuki piano courses for young children to solo instruction for students and adults of all ages. In basic terms, the Conservatory is one of the largest “community music schools” and its capital campaign relied on the resources of the Canadian government as well as private donors who responded generously to the institution’s ambitious business plan.

Located on the school’s Lincoln Park Campus, the Conservatory is part of a six phase expansion program that started in 2001 to increase student enrollment. Mount Royal University currently has an enrollment of more than 12,000 full and part time credit students.

The Conservatory is a focal point of the University’s expanded campus.
