The firm’s broad scope included planning performance spaces, designing seating and theatrical performance and AV systems for the Concert Hall, Recital Hall and Osher Salon, as well as audio-video and performance communication systems for studios, classrooms and the recording studio.

The Concert Hall was built within the renovated ballroom of the historic International House, with the stage extending into a new addition. The Recital Hall features an asymmetrical end-stage design with various seating options, and the Osher Salon offers flexible configurations for different events. Apeiro Design (formerly Auerbach Glasow) provided lighting design and management services for these performance spaces, as well as public circulation, classrooms and administrative areas. Special attention was given to the aesthetic and technical requirements of each space, including an integrated architectural lighting control system for easy operation and sine-wave dimming technology for a quiet system.
