The public spaces fulfill a crucial role in providing areas for social interaction between residents who chose this non-traditional way of living. Public areas include a large multipurpose hall, dining room, lounges, communal baths, pool, fitness center, ballroom, library, beauty salon, tea lounge, chapel and activity rooms.

Seamless integration of major functional elements was an essential goal for the design team. Lighting was integrated into various forms of architectural coves. The many decorative lighting fixtures were custom designed by BAMO with Apeiro Design’s assistance. Apeiro Design advised on the technical requirements and practical realization of the custom designs while addressing the comfort and visual needs of aging eyes. A dimming system was introduced to enhance viewing of the magnificent night view from dining and other areas, and to support various activities.

Meticulous attention to detail in the public areas create comfortable and relaxing environments encouraging social engagement.
