The intricate custom acoustic shell covers the stage and provides support for classical music as well as serving as a structural system for overhead rigging, lighting, and audio video equipment on the stage.

The theatrical systems are integrated in the architecture to minimize visual impact and maintain the pristine nature of the shell. The venue is outfitted with theatrical and audio systems to support the university’s performance need and additional structural capacity, electrical and data infrastructure that supports additional owner provided and touring theatrical production equipment to accommodate large events.
