Sample Reviews and Mock-ups

Physical review of light fixture samples; light fixture mock-ups in our office light lab or on the project site to confirm proof of concept and/or fixture installation requirements.

Sustainable Design

Designs which encompass energy conservation, light trespass and light pollution mitigation, bird friendly lighting, responsible materials use.

Code and Standards Compliance

Designs which address and comply with Federal and State energy codes, ASHRAE/IES 90.1, IES Recommended Practice, International Dark Sky Association, International Energy Conservation Code, US Green Building Council LEED Rating System, WELL Building Standard.

Bid Review

Review of bid packages, alternates, and substitutions to ensure compliance with the specifications and established budget.

Bulletins, Change Orders and Requests for Information

Assistance with responses to lighting questions and issues during the Construction Administration phases.

Submittals and Shop Drawings

Review and evaluation of lighting vendor's submittals and shop drawings for conformance with the design concept and the Contract Documents.

On-site observation of project progress and subsequent reports.

On-site Light Fixture Adjustments

Advise on the proper aiming and adjustment of adjustable light fixtures.

On-site Lighting Controls Fine Tuning

Advise on the fine tuning of lighting scenes and sequences of the lighting control system.
